nicoleslp Posted September 1, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2008 Has anyone ever been to this? How far from the ship?
jeffreypi Posted September 1, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2008 It's quite a bit north from the cruise ports, probably 40 minutes or so by taxi. http://www.pacificpearl.com/map_mazatlan.pdf It's near Emerald Bay, on the right side of the map. The cruise ports are on the left side. MazAgua is a nice water park, but nothing like the Raging Waters types of parks we have here. There is a new water park park open closer to the airport, btw. I don't recall the name of it.
2010_cruisers Posted March 4, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2010 a) Their web site in Mexican http://www.mazagua.com/ b) Notice when they are closed - off season,m and when re-opened. It is in the Playa Bruja beach area....in the far end of the GOLDEN ZONE district. c) Here is a 20% discount coupon that works for sure: (scroll down to find it and print if off) http://www.maztravel.com/maz/coupon.html d) Negotiate a cab fare toi take you there..it is about $20-22 US...and can take up to 40 mins. from the cruise terminal. PS It is great during the day when the locals are in school...otherwise you be be overwhelmed as the minority ....there...as in a possible lach of English speaking/understanding that is all. It is not a fancy, high-tech park, just a good ole heat-destroying fun-time, ok. BTW - the food prices/snacks/drnks are jus as expensive as any US-Canadian park also. bobnsofi Posted March 4, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 4, 2010 in-expensive cheaply built water parks are very popular in hot climate Mexico for the young children of the locals to enjoy during blazing summer holidays and weekends. It never seems like anyone is at this water park when we visit off a cruise ship, mostly mid-week, mid-winter, mid day
