Your disadvantage may be that some tours/shops may not yet be open/at their best at such an early point in the season. It's in the high 50s-low 60s...so don't worry asbout it being to cold.[/b]
Trainer Posted October 29, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 29, 2004 I went two years ago during the first week in June. Had great weather; shops all open and glad to see us. One misty morning in Skagway cleared up by 10 a.m. Great trip with no problems on RCCL.

Clear Skies, Cool temps! We were fortunate enough to go to and SEE Mt Mckinley and Denali, the weather was perfect there also. Currently living in Florida, we wore long sleeve shirts w/ a pull over sweater and we were very comfortable- even on the landing on Mt McKinley on Ruth Glacier. Saw all kinds of wildlife except the bears catching the salmon. Enjoy and have a wonderful cruise to Alaska! Susan
