Water shoes/ swimming at malfini

Do You need water shoes at malfini beach in labadee? I am presuming that you can also swim at malfini and not just lie on a mat.

Bare foot beach, is a very sandy beach. The beach that is by the Zip line and Dragons breath is rocky.

On another thread was a story of some cruisers getting sea urchin spikes in their feet. I would definitely wear water shoes. The only first aide is RCI, and if you realy get hurt, no were to go!

Just got back from Malfini Beach. You don't have to have shoes...and yes you can swim, sleep, relax, lay on a mat, do whatever you want. Its wonderful!
