Acapulco

Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to stay in Acapulco? We dock at 7:00 a.m. will have only the one day/night as our flight leaves the next morning at 7:00 a.m. We would like to be someplace where we can snorkel, relax and have easy access from the port to the hotel/resort and then to the airport?

Is there any snorkeling at any of the resorts that is any good?

Here is a good link to find everything you need in Acapulco. It is a forum board specifically for that city. It is by TripAdvisor (CruiseCritics parent company). You will have to join it just like here in order to ask questions but you can probably even use the same login as you do here to keep things simple.

I see you took the same cruise we will be taking in Feb. 09.

 

I'm stumped as to what to do in Acapulco, Ixtapa/Z and Manzanillo.

 

Do you have any reccomendations?

 

It's my husband and I and our 26 year old son.

 

We want to snorkel at one. I like going off the beaten path and seeing the real culture as much as possible.

 

Any suggestions?

WELL a good hotel can be the Camino Real 20 minutes from the airport, Royal Park, 15 minutes from the airport, Pierre Marques, 5 minutes from the airpórt or also the Princess 5 minutes from the airport
