what about Hollywood Beach area?

Has anyone stayed on this area, it's about 15 miles from Fort Lauderdale beaches, but 25 minute drive. There is a resort and 4 star you can bid on through price line. I have had no luck with hotel on the beach in Fort lauderdale,

What 4 Star Hotel In Hollywood Beach??

Hollywood Beach is beautiful. The only 4 star that comes to mind is the Diplomat on Hallandale Beach. The former Howard Johnsons on Hollywood Beach is being renovated and will reopen as a Marriott proprty.

 

Having stayed in Hollywood Beach quite often wouldn't hesitate to stay at Seadowns, Tides or the Beauganvilla. They are right on the beach, nice and clean and a good value. Restaurants are within walking distance. Taxi from the airport or cab to Port Everglades runs 12-15 dollars.
