i just received a call from my travel agent letting me know that we will be going to coco cay instead of labadee. i'm not sure if it's set in stone. but she called me out of the blue. also to let me know that she hasn't received my documents yet, but she thought that since they know where we are going we should be receiving them soon. just wanted to pass on what i heard.

We're on the same cruise. I assume your TA got this info from RCI. Is it listed on their website yet? We were hoping for a real port instead but it's still better than a 6th sea day. How is Coco Cay? I read it might not be large enough to accomodate the number of pax that Voyager holds. Any truth to that. Oh well, we'll have a good time anyhow. Can't wait.

BTW, just looked at RCI's website and nothing about our cruise there. Stopping at the Bahamas first will change the itinerary by having one sea day, then Coco Cay, then the second sea day before Jamaica. Would you agree? We could actually make it to Cozumel in two sea days and then carry on with the rest of the itinerary. Doubt if RCI would do that though with extra port charges, but it would be nice. It would help book the remaining sailings throughout the summer. I'm dreaming. We're probably going to Coco Cay.

I am on the same cruise, and am most curious. My DH wanted to dive once more so Coco Cay would be fine with us. But I can't find this on RCCL anywhere.

Well this is getting to be fun. I wonder how many different answers we can get in the next 5 weeks. Playing "where are we going" will help the time pass by faster.

I just called RC and was told we would be going to Grand Bahamas TWICE!. When I told them that couldn't be correct, they put me on hold to check with a supervisor and came back with the same information. According to them we will stop there as our first stop and last stop. I think that is highly unlikely.

I'm sure if I call tomorrow I will get another answer since no one seems to know what is going on.

At any rate we will find out 5 weeks from now.

Right now I wouldn't worry too much about going to Freeport twice. I can't imagine them doing that. I know some of the earlier Voyager cruises have gone there instead of Labadee but they were not scheduled to go there to begin with. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but when I go to book shore excursions for my Voyager Oct 8 cruise I get the response: "No shore excursions are available at this time. Wondering if there's a chance of them changing our itinerary! wvdreamer - most likely it is just too early to have your excursions posted. They usually don't post them that far (6 months) in advance.

Hey guys,

We just booked Stingray City at Grand Cayman for $30 pp. It's a 2 stop tour with Coral Gardens as the second stop. Someone here on the boards says the ship's excursion is $60. Call Native Way and book before they fill up. We are 3 people and only if you are 4 or more do you have to put a deposit down. Their number is 1-345-946-8656. Read here on the boards that they're great. They told us that there's zero chance that we'd be late for the morning tour, but the afternoon tour may get back too late for out ship. The tour is at 8:30 AM. Our ship's itinerary says we're arriving at 8:00 AM, however, she says not only that they're refering to ship's time of 7:00 AM, that they will be in by 6:00 AM. Nothing to lose cause you don't have to put any money up and save half of the ship's excursion rate. She said the tour's almost full so book soon.

I guess I'll add to the speculation...We are also booked on the May 21st sailing and our TA called us a few weeks ao to inform us that we would be stopping in Coco Cay. I did not ask him where he got his info. Personally, I am so anxious to 'get out there', they could swap Labadee for Hoboken and I'd be fine.

I agree with you completely tp-nj. If I don't like the substitute port, I will just stay on the ship and enjoy the peace and quiet. Once we sail under the Verrazano-Narrows bridge it doesn't matter where we go as long as I don't see the bridge again for 9 days.

I will refer to the Ocho Rios Itinerary and make the necessary arrangement, should this package be accepted. The tour consists of:



A visit to the renowned Dunn’s River Falls 2 ½ hrs.
Highlighted Shopping tours optional.
A visit to Fern Gully, a picturesque location with various species of Ferns.
A countryside tour through the Jamaican neighborhood.
Optional visit to the beach of your choice, or other location of interest in Ocho Rios.
The tour last approximately 4 ½ hours.
The cost is US$30.00 per adult and US$20.00 for children under twelve (12) years old. (Cost includes admission to Dunn’s River Falls.) No charge for children under 3 years old. You can pay in Cash or Travelers cheque on completion of the tour. I drive a 15 or a 30 passengers seater Air conditioned bus and take 12 or 22 passengers respectively.



I also arrange and customize tour; not done by me personally but I can recommend drivers who work with me.
