coffeebean Posted October 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 6, 2008 We are sailing on the SKY for Christmas. What does NCL do for the holiday that is special. My kids are worried it will not be like Christmas. We haven't been on an NCL ship during the Christmas holidays but have been on RCCL at least twice. The ships were decorated beautifully for Christmas. There were lots of Christmas trees all over the ship in the public spaces. The atmosphere was very festive. RCCl had a really nice crew show which was centered around Christmas... singing carols and there was a visit by Santa and his elves. The show included the kids from the "kids club" on stage and it was so nice. They had a snow machine which provided "real snow" on the stage and the folks in the front rows of the theater also got "snowed" on. It was magical. I would assume NCL decorates their ships also and has a visit by Santa.
AuntieBarb Posted October 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2008 Here's a thread from earlier this year. There are others to be found in the search function. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=807005&highlight=Christmas I hope that helps give you an idea of what it's like at Christmas time on NCL ships.
