Lunch options on POA on embark day

Hi! Are either of the main dining rooms on the Pride of America open for lunch on embark day or is the buffet the only option while waiting for cabins to be ready?

Yes they are open or should I say were open. They had a barbecue sail away party and we ate there.

We are planning on having lunch in the Skyline restaurant as soon as we board on 1-24-09. This restaurant also has breakfast and lunch everyday of the cruise. That's on Deck 5 aft. Bigred
