Closest airport to Brooklyn Red Hook

We've booked a cruise on the Crown Princess for next October and I believe it will be leaving from the Brooklyn port at Red Hook. Please advise, should we fly into LaGuardia or JFK?

LGA is closest at 10 miles. JFK depending on how you go is anywhere from 14(by streets) to 25(by highway)....

In other words, LGA and JFK are about the same distance from the cruise terminal - so make getting the best airfare your priority, not which airport the carrier flies into.

That advice would also justify a flight into Newark Airport if that provides the best air fare.

 

I agree. Take the best air fare regardless of which of the three airports is your arrival location.
