S. Caribbean ports to skip excursions?

Hi all: Doing the NCL 9 day S. Caribbean on the Jewel in December. We're stopping in Semana, Tortola, Antigua, Barbados and St. Lucia. All ports have the typical catamaran type excursions. In at least 2 of the ports I want to just walk around, shop, get lunch and hit a beach. Which are the prettiest/quaintest islands in terms of towns?

Hi Leoml if your still looking at this site We are going on same cruise

in a couple days I have same question you did only I also would like to

know if ship docked at port, because I am in wheelchair, cannot walk

at all hoping we can get off ship and husband can push me around

all ports if possible. I dont know if I could be tendered.
