Thanksgiving on the Emerald - cancelled port?

Someone on the thread for this cruise (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=666265&page=10) mentioned a cancelled port? I can't find any mention of this on the personaliser or anywhere else - is he mistaken, or is there something I don't know?!

Did you check your itinerary on your cruise personalizer? I read the thread, but without any idea what port the poster is talking about, it's hard to tell. I would wait until they post again and answer your question as to 'what letter' and 'what port'? As It could be mistyped. I wouldn't get too excited quite yet, until you hear a few more specifics about this one.

Can't see anything different on the personaliser - all of the ports are still listed along with excursions etc...

On our 8\6 Princess cut-short the port times.

No explanation! No compensation!

I only found out about it through the boards here. :rolleyes:

I always thought it had to do with Princess saving money on fuel, even though we were charged a fuel surcharge. :rolleyes:

 

Both articles might explain why your ports were canceled.

I would wait until that poster returns then. Remember, you are dealing with the typed word and that is the only mention, and quite vaguely I might add, of any type of cancelled port on your sailing.

 

Hang in there and keep checking for them to return and explain what letter they are referring to.

Someone replied that they may be talking about the swap from St Lucia to Dominica which was made ages and ages ago. BUt, I guess some sites still show St Lucia.
