My Day At San Juan, Puerto Rico

Here's our day at San Juan Puerto Rico, on our week-long cruise to the caribbean.

It was a beautiful city with lots of rich culture and history.

 

I didn't book any excursion here so we just walked off the ship & ran into a local tour guide.

 

We took a tour around the city that was very informative. :)

 

We stopped at various places of interest, like Congress, El Morro Fort, etc.

 

We had a nice time until I almost passed out from heat exhaustion! :eek:

 

It was extremely hot, as if we were walking around in an oven!

 

So we got back to the ship after a few hrs of exploration to rehydrate!

 

Warning: Bring LOTS of water!!!

Nice trip video. The Capital is a lovely building- the ceiling is beautiful. Not too many people actually bother going in.

(ps- the constitution in the Capital building in SJ is the PR Constitution from 1952. The video says it is the US Constitution.)

 

It is hot in OSJ, year round. (All that cement and stone). You offer good advice- drink a lot to stay hydrated.
