Farewell Britt Lapthorne - Dubrovnik

We are travelling soon to Dubrovnik and have been so excited about finally getting to visit this beautiful, beautiful city. The events of the past few weeks though have cast a sombre pall over it. (She was a young Australian tourist who went missing and was subsequently found floating in the water). I'm going to throw a flower in the water if I can, and think about how lucky we are to still have our health and our loved ones. I can't even begin to imagine the pain of losing a child, and my heart goes out to her family.

Thanks for starting this thread. Yes, it is heartbreaking to think what Britt's family are going through. Please do place a flower in the water for her.

 

We were in Mykonos last month, and my thoughts went to the family of another young Australian who met his untimely death there at the hands of a bouncer recently. So sad that tragedy can strike in such beautiful places.
