NL Cruisers Posted November 1, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2004 Need someones opinion please!! We have a category 8a cabin booked on the Triumph for Easter of 2005. This was the first level of cabins that had a balcony, and since it will be our first cruise, we wanted a balcony. My question is this.....is it worth the extra money to go up a level or 2 in category to get an extended balcony and some extra room? I am asking based on price and quality as a possible "upgrade surprise" for my honey, in secret, before we go. Thanks in Advance, NL Cruisers:)
serene56 Posted November 2, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 2, 2004 To move up a few decks for a few extra dollars will not give you moe room in the cabins. THe balcony cabins are the same size- You are paying for the deck you are on. If you dont care where your cabin is- then book as a gaurantee and take your chance of being upgraded for free. How many people will be cruising with you? For the same amount of money you can book cabins 6424 6432-6451 or 6459. These caboins are cat 8A. are bigger witha queen size bed (not the two twins pushed together.. and the balcony is extra long too
ArkansasFish Posted November 2, 2004 #3 Share Posted November 2, 2004 If you were my spouse, I would say no, don't do it. since you already have a nice room. The suprise could be used on something else. Such as pre-paid massage services, etc Now if you were going from an inside to a balcony, YES!!!!
