Does anyone know the approximate cost of a Taxi from the pier or downtown to Ezera Airport and/or from the pier or downtown to Jorge Newberry Airport and is the cost per person or for the Taxi?

The cost from the pier/downtown to EZE is about US$ 40

From the pier/downtown to AEP domestic maybe US$20

 

 

IF you call them from the pier It is important to ask for the cost before the ride.and make sure they have AC

 

If car looks too rickety,wait for the next one.

Just say in spanish- con aire por favor.

 

 

Now if you leave from downtown ,my best choice is to go directly to the Marriot Plaza and have the doorman call a cab from there-you do not have to be a guest at the hotel-Taxis from the hotel are all brandnew, safe vehicles

never ever go to existing taxistands that are outside the hotel they are mostly scamsters

It's hard to get a regular metered cab when you exit EZE. There is a taxi mafia that enforces a set price usually of 100-120 A pesos which is US $30-35 at todays rate of 3.22.

Going to EZE is a totally different thing. A nice cab will ask you for a fixed fee of 70-75 pesos which is approximately the meter plus a few pesos for tolls.
