I'm hoping for a return vacation to Merida and the Yucatan for three weeks over Easter. At home I ride a 250cc motor scooter and find it real fun. While in Merida, I hope to visit some outlying rural towns as I've done in the past, such as Ticul, Izamal, etc. Are there rental agencies that rent scooters suitable for highway speed/traffic (with helmets of course)? The chicharrones (pig skins) at the Ticul market are as good as I've ever found. lol
