Hubby and I were at the pier by 1030 thanks to the Hojo. We gave the porter $5 for the 3 bags. we had a bag each for clothes and then a 3rd bag for cokes, waters an snorkeling items. We did not bring cans but bottles. plus some haloween items and some shoes. I also bring a shoe hanger for the cabin. We stood in line maybe 15-20 minutes beofre we were alowed upstairs. If you have your fun pass completed it goes much faster. We had to wait all of 2 minutes once upstairs. We then did the sail and sign card. We changed the cruise at the last minute (August) so we did not get second seating but on the Legend they were doing anytime dinning and we were doing that. It worked out great. There is a large area to sit at and we were number 5 to go. by 1145 we were called.

The Legend is much darker than the Inspiration. It is set in midevil times that is the theme of the ship. Cabins are not ready until 130pm so we stayed by the pool for awhile. I checked out the pool area. There are 3 pools. The aft one is adult only and has a bar too and a hot tub too. the middle pool is where most of the activity is and complete with stage. There is a 3rd pool too. the mail pool has a cover too that can be closed but it was open. All pools have hot tubs. There is a waterslide and a kids pool too. The kids pool is less than 2 feet deep. the watersldie was not open. When we were on the Inspiration it was open.

The food area by the pool had drink stations of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice and lemonade and ice too. plus ice cream stations that have vanilla, chocolate or strawberry. There is also a small buffet of hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, checken fingers and freinch fries and onion rings. The onion rings were very good. Plus fixings for hamburgers and hot dogs. Inside the Lido deck area there are several buffett stations called Pods. There are numerous stations with different things. One area is international and had a different theme. There is pasta, fish, meat, potatoes, plus a Asian section with soup, rice, entree and egg roll or spring rolls. There is yet another area with salad bar items, and another area with made to roder sandwhiches such as a reuben. Plus there is a Pizza area with lots of Pizzas and cesar sald or a calzone and a dessert. On boarding day there was Key Lime Pie. It was not served again. I loved the Asian area. They had the best shrimp spring rolls I have ever eaten. We thought the stations were too spread apart and you had to back track to get some items.

Bars- The bar guys/girls were selling the fountain cards. They were $6 a day for adults plus

you can have a cup too which is a $6.95 more. The waiters were selling drinks of the day too. On the pool deck there were 4 bars. One by the aft, one by the starboard and port side plus a high energy bar. We also found out that on the cruise there was a singles cruise going on with over 600 of them.

Cabin was ready at 130pm and luggage was there for us. Since it was Haloween we deocrated our door with decorations from the dollar store. We secured them with magnets. we were on deck 6 with a 8a balcony. They have french doors. It was nice to sit out there at night. Before the boat drill I called my Mom to check on my Uncle who is like a Dad to me. He was in the termianl stage of cancer and Ihoped and prayed he would be alive until I got home. I had contemplated canceling the cruise but did not per his request. He had taken a turn for the worse in the last few hours. As a nurse I knew what that meant. After boat drill we went to the pool for awhile. If you sail from Tampa you go right under the Sunshine Skyway bridge. It is an awsome feet as you clear by feet. This does not happen until about 615pm. It is an amazaing task.

We had the new dinning and decided to eat at 8pm. We were seated with 2 girls and another family. I had the steak and it was very good. My favorite dessert is the Chocolate Melting Cake! I wish I had some now! Off to the show. The Singers and Dancer do a high energy number then a comdey act too. He was so funny. He would do an adult show later.

Sea Day number 1.

Hubby and I woke up early and had breakfast on the Lido deck. They had the same things every day. They did alternate with pancakes and french toast. There were chicken sausages, turkey bacon, scrambled eggs, oatmeal gritts, made to order eggs and omletes. Plus cereals, baglels, toast, cheeses, fruits, yogurt.

We headed to the li brary first. I wanted to read Jimmy Buffetts book Swine Not. There are computers there too with packages plans of 100 minutes for $55. Or pay by the minute for .75 with a one time conection fee of $3.95. We then headed to the pool. We chose the pool which had a chair. After breakfast it was no problem but after 40 minutes there were few to be had. The reggae band Energy played. Again there was the drink of the day a monkey drink in a coconut. I think if I remember it was $15.95 due to the coconut. I had one last time but did want one this time. You can refill frozen drinks for $5.95 Zregular frozen drinks were %6.95 in the sovienr cup. or $7.95. Beers were $3.75 -$4.75 for domestic. No budlight lime or Land Shark. Imports were $4.95 to $5.95..

I did the waterslide and it was empty. I must have gone down 4 times before there was someone else. it was bright beautiful sunny day. lunch was international. I think my favorite area was the asian. The shrimp spring rolls were so good. That was my favorite thing! They were so light.

I collecyt my loose change and prior to the cruise I cash it in. And I did that nad had over $70 so we spent that in the casino. We mostly do slots or the slide quarter game. Next to casino is a sport bar and from 5-8 there is sushi station there. So far we were enjoying the ship.

Thanks for your great review so far!

Can I make a suggestion? You should keep the entire review on ONE thread.... you can just say UPDATED in the title. That way, people do not have to search for all the days and it can be together.
