Ocho Rios excursion

We just returned from the Western Carribean on the Triumph. We booked an escursion Ocho Rios through orvilletay@yahoo.com. We had our own private guide for the four of us and it was great. If you decide to gor this route, be sure to tell Orville that you want a personal guide for your party only and ask for "Bright Lights" (Tony is his real name). He is ver knowledgeable about the island and will take you where you want to go. We decided to skip Dunns River Falls and went tubing on the White River. You can get Red stripe beer at the start and at the rest stop if you want or take your own like we did. We asked Tony to stop and pick some up for our small cooler. we also went to a local place for jerk chicken and pork - wes good. also we toured the area and Fern Gulley. All in all a good day in spite of the rain.

We used Phil Lafayette for our tour and he was a blast, a lot of fun, same thing, the falls and tubing (this was the highlight of everyone's cruise), then we stopped for lunch at a restaurant that sat on a cliff overlooking the amazing blue ocean, it was picture perfect. He even tried to guide us around the very pushy vendors at the falls, we got side tracked though, and they are as rough as they say. But I would definately go back just for this tour again. Wish we could of spent more time at the beach at the bottom of the falls, we sat in the ocean for awhile, it was so calm and clear.
