Bars In Port Area In Samana

Are there any fun bars in the port area in Samana? Somthing in the class of a Carlos and Chalies, or Senior Frogs?

We did not see anything like that when we were there. If you walk down from the pier into town about ten minutes away there are some stores and we did see one restaurant but did not go in. I personally would not eat in the town of Samana, but that's just me. Don't get me wrong...we LOVED Samana but didn't want to eat in town.
