Cruzin-Keith Posted November 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2008 We'll be boarding the Emerald this Thursday and have a couple of last minute questions about wine in the suite. 1. Can we buy wine on the ship and take it back to our room for consumption? 2. Can we buy wine at the various Ports and bring it back to our room for consumption? If we can do the above it will make our luggage much lighter. Thanks to all, Liz & Keith

There will be a bar menu located in the booklet there. And yes, you can also buy wine in the ports of call and bring it back for consumption in your stateroom, no problem. Enjoy! sultan_sfo Posted November 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted November 17, 2008 The room service supplies only a limited wine list which is given under the room service pages in the binder you will find in your cabin. The other wines from the full list can be got from the bar. At some embarkation ports there are wine stores near the embarkation piers and it will be worthwhile to pick up a few bottles there even if it means having the cab wait. However, wine brought on-board by you will be charged $15 per bottle IF you take it to the dining room (but not if you drink it in your cabin). ... 1.
