Port Lucaya, Water Taxi

I was in Port Lucaya in February of this year. As we were leaving port we saw a very fast water taxi. On the side of the taxi was Bay Ferries and the ferry name was "The Cat". Is anyone familiar with this water taxi. It was traveling at such a fast speed that we thought it might be making runs from Key West to Port Lucaya. I hate flying and thought that looked like a good way to travel. Just a thought.
