I believe this is where the Volendam will dock for Beijing. Since we are doing a 6 night land tour after our cruise (09/24/09) we don’t want to do Beijing tours while there on the cruise. Any tour guides, driver with English speaking guide or ideas to do while there. We overnight there?

Two years ago we sailed the Sapphire Princess in Asia. We stopped in Tianjin for the day and arranged a private tour there. We were very surprised and delighted with our tour. We used Edison Travel Service: edisonts@ms6.hinet.net - there were several interesting stops, which included a lunch break where we had a 30 course lunch! It was an amazing and delicious experience for the 6 of us... one will never forget. We will be stopping in Tianjin again in 2010 and we'll definitely arrange a tour with the same company.
