Good Cabin?

I posted this on the cabin selection thread, but thought I might get more responses here. We are sailing on the Carnival Freedom in January. I just found out our guarantee cabin has finally been assigned. We booked the cheapest balcony guarantee and it looks like we've been upgraded to the Lido deck, portside, Category 8E # 9272. Good cabin? It looks like it's close to the pool and right behind the elevators. I don't really care. I'm just sooo excited we finally know where we're going to be.:D Can't wait! Please tell me this is a good cabin though.:confused: Sorry, but it's my first cruise and I have no idea what constitutes a good cabin.

You'll love being on the Lido Deck but even more you'll love your balcony!!

Don't worry about the elevators. They're virtually silent and there are not that many cabins on 9 deck anyway.

whoooo hoooo sounds like a great upgrade. The doors before you get to the pool block sound, it will be a quiet corridor unless you have someone talking outside your cabin, that happens, but thats a great location.
