magicolor_girl Posted April 26, 2004 #51 Share Posted April 26, 2004 You all have me worried that cocktail dresses aren't good enough. To me, the two dresses I have worn to formal night dinner are "dressed up" because I don't dress that way every day. I wear nice jewelry and strappy sandals and a nice bag. Now I wonder if other people are looking at me in disgust because I don't look as if I'm going to the prom or my own wedding! Ugh. As it is, I like my dresses and will continue to wear them because I feel good about myself when I'm in them. That's really all that matters. Caitlin, I liked your dress and think it would fit in perfectly on a formal night. ambergloww Posted April 26, 2004 #52 Share Posted April 26, 2004 I love the dress !!! Its adorable and if I had the body for it I would wear it in a heartbeat. As far as the bathing suits and shorts issue, I am taking my first cruise in September and I assure you I will be having a blast and the very last thing on my mind will be what others are wearing. I keep seeing thread where people are appalled by others fashion choices, I must say I don't mean to offend but who cares. I dress to please my husband and more importantly myself! I will make every effort to comply with the suggested dress information RCCL provides me but I won't be offended by anyone who does not. Now the threads I have seen about the 300lb 80 y/o women in bikinis or the 400lb men in speedos......thats a different story lol AMBERGLOWW Rhapsody of the Seas SEPTEMBER 12, 2004 KEY WEST COZUMEL GRAND CAYMAN until white sands, blue water and MARGARITAS AND RUM PUNCH !!!!
