I hope you guys can help, I know there are companies out there who can deliver medical/mobility products to your room onboard. can anyone give me some names? I am in need of a patient lift thingy. I have one but it is not practical for me to take it. thanks for your help

We take our own, which is designed for travel, but I believe you can usually get a manual crank Hoyer or Invacare lift through http://www.CareVacations.com You would have to talk to them about the variety of slings they carry and can provide.

please be aware that certain cruiselines have contracted with certain providers and if you are cruising one of those lines the ONLY ones that can deliver to the ship are the ones the line tells you can. So contact your cruisline special services dept. and find out if they dictate who you must use.
