HELP - Balcony choice Independence

Recommended Posts

ok - I need to decide quick -

D1 deck 10 Independence - (a bow (aft) cabin)

D1 - Deck 9 - port side - fairly mid ship

I have never had an aft cabin - what is the noise, motion, view like?

I know the balconies are bigger and feel more private - but are they better? Can you still see the port as you pull in? Is the engine noise loud?

Thanks!

I'd prefer the midship location--unless you really NEED a larger balcony, the side balcony will be more than sufficient! And, it's so easy to get to!

As far as seeing the ship "pull into port" from the aft, if they pull forward, you won't see much. IF they back in, then you'll be right there! Captain's choice!

No matter where your cabin is on the ship, there will be things you'll have to leave your balcony to see!

No engine noise. You're probably not going to see the port when you pull in regardless of what cabin you have. Most times ships pull into port very early in the morning. You do have a 180 degree view however! Had one last week and definitely book one again!!
