Silver Moon vs SmallCats/Boatyard for 9yo

I will be traveling with my 9yo son and was trying to decide between the all-day Silver Moon versus taking the half-day Small Cats and then take him over to the Boatyard. He is a great swimmer and snorkeler, but I was wondering if he might get bored on an all day sail type trip. I would appreciate any comments for people who have done either. Thanks!

Hi Tas,

Why don't you ask him which he would like better? You could show him websites and brochures from both and let him decide. I do that with my 5 year old.

Host Tink has given good advice, let your son decide.

We had guests two years ago with a 8 year-old boy and they took him to Harrison’s Cave and The Barbados Wildlife Reserve and he loved it.

The Boatyard is a great place to finish-up the day where you’ll all have fun.

I leave you with a few of pictures to show to your son while looking for a smile…..

There are lots more animals at the Reserve that run free and he can pet and see. Better than the stateside stuff.

Best wishes for a wonderful time on the island! :)
