FLL - What time do Everglades excurions arrive at the airport

We have time to kill in FLL before our flights home. Our friends have a flight leaving at 2:10 pm and we are leaving at 3:40 pm. We have a car reserved, but I'm afraid we would lose a lot of time picking up the car and returning it, so it would hardly be worth it. The HAL Everglades excursion and airport transfer says you shouldn't have a flight scheduled before 2:30 pm. Does anyone know what time the bus actually arrives at the airport? Would 20 minutes really being cutting it too close?
