Glory questions

Hello, for those of you that have cruised on Glory recently, what time are the staterooms usually ready (normally around 1:30)? And are the pools/hot tubs open during embarkation? I need to know whether to have my swimsuit ready.:)

was supposed to be sailing on th glory.. general rule of thumb is either bring it with you in a carry on or wear them under you shorts...

Earlier in the year we were able to get to our room on the Inspiration around 11:30, but this recent trip on Glory they had the fire doors closed to prevent access until 1:30. We took our carry ons, went up to the Red Sail on the lido deck and had lunch/drinks for the 2 hours we needed to kill. Met some other nice folks in the process and those prepared for the pool were enjoying that too.

 

We kept our carry on bags as light as possible to keep from dragging around our stuff for several hours. Just take what you think you'll need--and if a pool person, then a swim suit would be a perfect addition. Here are some shots of Glory...you'll have a blast.

Bring your swimsuit in your carry-on because the pools and hot tubs will be open! You can usually board before noon. The lido buffet will be open, it's a good place to hang until your cabin is ready at around 2PM.
