Wine stores in Bangkok...

Interested in knowing if Bangkok has wine stores and if anyone would know an address of some stores?:D

 

Compared to North American prices, how did you find the price of good wines?:rolleyes:

Hi Leslie

Sure Bangkok has wine stores and most supermarkets sell wine as well.

 

However, Thailand has about 300% import duty on wines making even the simplest vintage extraordinarily expensive.

 

Just today I bought two bottles of Australian Red and paid almost 1000 baht for them...New Year gift to myself!

Thank you Klongmaster...We will be sailing on the Diamond Princess March 14th, and wanted to take some wine onboard with us.

Will be staying in BKK for a week and doing tours.
