Restaurants near Homewood Inn Blue Lagoon

Will be flying in around 10pm and staying at the Homewood Inn & Suites MIA Blue Lagoon, anyone know of a decent place to get a bite to eat near by? We won't have a car. Also would like feedback on how safe this neighborhood is, is a taxi after dark a necessity?

It's a safe part of town, 3/10ths of a mile north of the hotel is the 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant. http://www.the94thaerosquadron.com/Miami/index.html. Decent food, nice atmosphere, fun to watch the plans take off and land while enjoying your meal.

You should know, however, that it closes at 10 PM Sunday-Thursday, and at Midnight on Friday and Saturday.

That's cutting it close, anyone know if they deliver? I could place an order and ask them to get it to my room by 11:30, should be checked in by then.
