Best time of year for tendering in Caymans?

Unfortunately on our last cruise we missed Grand Cayman due to rough water and waves so we were unable to tender. Is there any time of year that has calmer waters so that if we tried another cruise to Grand Cayman we would be able to tender?

what time of the year was the last cruise you took and misse the tender? I am getting married in May and am concerned with this.

We've tendered twice in Grand Cayman, once in the beginning of March and then once at the end of March, both times it was very calm weather.:)

We didnt have a problem at the end of June when we were there. (07)

I think any time of year there will always be a chance of rough water, but I think pre hurricane season would be your best bet. (spring to real early summer)

Just back from the Valor. We were not able to tender at the downtown port - but went to Spot's Bay. All of the vendors knew about it, and were waiting on shore. Although StingRay city was nice, the other snorkel stop was a little rough, and I would not have wanted to one of the jet ski's out on the water - they had to be sore the next day!
