noyes66 Posted January 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2009 Hi everyone. First time posting but long time lurker. Trying to read through posts to make a decision and just when I though I had it figured out ... lol Flying into FLL on 1/31 Deptarting on the NCL Pearl out of Miami on 2/1 Trying to decide to stay in Miami or FLL original though was to stay in Miami - read good things about Hyatt Summerfield Suites Miami Airport - so was going to go from FLL to MIA - thought I read somewhere there is a cheap easy way to go from airport to airport but cant seem to find it now. The Hyatt offers free shuttle from MIA to hotel - and can book reasonable taxi in the morning to the port Looking for any help and or suggestions. Just 2 of us - younger couple - not looking for anything more than a place to crash, maybe with a pool, and some food near by - want to relax after flying in and get ready for the week ahead Would it be better to stay in FLL? and taxi down the next morning maybe rent a car? To many choices LOL !! Thanks ahead of time! Kris

kathyr Posted January 7, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2009 Hi Noyes66, I would, if you can make it work, stay at the Intercontinental !!- We stayed there 11/07 and it was VERY nice... right next to the bayside market, which has some shops and resturants.. and if you get a room up high enough you will be able to see the ships when you wake up!!:D taxi to port is maybe 10 minutes look if that.. We are doing this again this coming Nov. - whatever you decide - enjoy the cruise!!!!:D:D kathy
