matndrew Posted November 15, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2004 We just returned from our cruise aboard the Carnival Inspiration. We drove to Tampa from SC and stayed at the Chase Suites near the airport. They have a cruise package that includes the room, transfers to and from the pier and they keep your car for the duration of the cruise. Our family had a wonderful experience with this. I highly recommed the Chase Suites. It was clean, the room was nice and large and the breakfast was included. We paid $129 for our room. Since we would have had to pay $60 to park at the port, this turned out to be the best deal. And they drop you directly at the port. No messing with luggage or fidgety children trying to cross a busy road!! Our group was one of the first called off the ship and we, by luck, had the Chase Suites van there within 5 minutes of walking out of the terminal. All they ask is that you call them as soon as you disembark the ship. It should only take a max. of 30 minutes to come get you. :D

kokonut Posted November 15, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 15, 2004 So very happy to hear the nice review of the Chase Suites. We had booked the Amerisuites and when I read the poor reviews of that hotel - and the rave ones of this one we rebooked. We'll be there on December 30 for our New Years Eve Cruise on the Horizon. It looks like a fabulous place! We got the two bedroom suite for $143, with parking, breakfast and the social hour included (we'll be there on a Thursday night) - it is a deal hard to beat. There are four adults in our group and the suite sounds like a heavenly place to begin our trip!!
