goinsoon Posted January 23, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2009 Is the stair case by the Panoramic elevators (mid ship) a public staircase or is it just for crew. I know threads have touched on this subject but can't get it straight in my old feeble mind. Second question, where is the pattisserie? Thanks! No, the center staircase does not go above deck 7 for the public. This "flaw" was fixed on all the subsequent Grand class ships. The Pattisserie is in the Atrium on deck 5. On the newer ships, the International Cafe is in that location.

I had totally forgotten about the midships staircase on the Grand, as it had been years since we sailed on her. :( I was destined to either walk fore or aft when I wanted to take the stairs back from the casino. I knew there was a reason we never booked midship staterooms on higher decks on this ship in the past. But, alls well that ends well, I still gained absolutely no weight at all on our two week cruise. :) :)
