NCL shipboard exchange rate...??

They definitely make money but I don't remember exactly how much. We were in the Baltic last year and basically needed different currency for almost every stop. Here's an example (NOT the correct numbers) of how it went last year. Buy Euros from the purser for $1.60 (when the exchange rate was $1.50) and sell them back for $1.40 (still the exchange rate was $1.50) - so like most people who are in business to exchange money, they take a cut when selling to you and again when buying them back. If we had left over currency, we included as tips for the crew because they were going to be on that itinerary for the summer.
