MSC Orchestra - is it soup yet?

Hi,

 

We have been looking at the MSC Orchestra and are concerned about the reviews. I have read that they seem to be making changes. Do you think it will take some time yet or will March be OK to sail with them?

I am also going on MSC Orchestra in March. At first I was very worried about bad reviews. But the good thing is that it appears that MSC is reading these reviews and making things better. So even at first I thought I'll change or cancel my trip, now I am much more comfortable.

 

As a side note - thank to all of you who posted bad reviews. If not for you, MSC would not have made so many changes to make our future vacations better.

That was the intent, to either make MSC aware that not doing right by passengers would not go quietly into the night, or to make future passengers aware of what they might have to endure, accept, or at the very least be prepared for. I don't think anyones intent was just to bash MSC for some minor inconvienence, but to express that the trip we planned and looked forward to for months was so far below normal standards that we felt obligated to let other know.

 

Anyway, it really is nice to know that a few folks took the reports as just that, reports. We were not wishing a bad experience on anyone else or trying to make others feel bad about their bookings.

 

I really do hope that MSC gets on the ball and makes drastic changes to the areas where people have drawn their attention and that everyone from this point on has a wonderful time. If our reports have in some small way made the improvements come faster, then maybe our less than positive experiences can be remembered a little less unpleasantly.
