yalesmom Posted February 9, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2009 Has anyone ever gone to San Gervasio? What's your two cents? Lori
suezyq50 Posted February 10, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2009 We went a few years back. For us, we thought it had plenty of ruins. But we have never been to the mainland ones. Others say it is a waste of time.
reno3 Posted February 10, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2009 We went last April. I thought is was worth the trip, it was the only ruins we were going to get to see. Saw a lot of iguanas. The hotter it gets the more you see. Myself, husband and 13 yr old son. A lot of walking to see everything. We went early in the morning, it was hot. We did not get a guide. yalesmom Posted February 11, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted February 11, 2009 Thank you for your responses. We've been to the mainland ruins. But, this time we'll have three kids, and I think an all day trip is way too long. I still wanted them to get little sense of the history. I think this will be perfect for them. pigfishinn Posted February 13, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2009 We were there in Sept. Very HOT!!! We thought it was interesting. It does not have large ruins but has lots of smaller ones. Be aware that there is a lot of walking involved. If we wanted to walk further than we did I am sure we would have seen much more (but it was just too darn hot).
