wolfatlga Posted February 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2009 Greetings.. This is our first Carnival cruise, but we have been on Holland, which I understand to be owned by Carnival and all their ships have new flat screen TV and DVD players. It was great for sea days to check out new DVD's and relax and watch a movie. So my question was about the Carnival Legend, we are sailing Oct.25th out of Tampa and friends have told us how nice Carnival is to sail with. Thanks.. EASTMAN Posted February 18, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2009 Hi i could be wrong, but i think the legend was going into refurb in january.i read that she was getting flat screens.i aways bring a small dvd player and plug it into the rca connectors on the front of the tv.my camera worked there too.tv choices on the ships leave alot to be desired so i bring my own dvds.ok i just googled legend drydock-it was in january 2008.they said the tvs were replaced to flat screen. agavin Posted February 18, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2009 We were on the Legend last month, and no flat screens or dvd players... or at least not in the balcony, ov, and 3 inside rooms we had booked anyways.
stthomaslover Posted February 18, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 18, 2009 Just off the legend Feb 1, no flat screen tv's. But still love the ship, it is my favorite. Have sailed her 3 times so far and will sail again, next January.
