Typical for Carnival to have 8 and 6 day summer Caribbean sailings?

Hello Carnival Cruisers-

 

I really like the itinerary of the Freedom's 8 and 6 day sailings out of Miami. I would like to consider doing a trip like this next summer as a B2B. Is it typical for Carnival to have a ship doing an itinerary like this every summer? Yes, I know about the hurricane possibility, but have to take our chances since we are limited to traveling when our daughter is out of school. Thank you in advance for you help!

Liberty and Freedom have been doing that run for the past 2-3 years.
