Brisbane on Easter Sunday?

Now that my hopes have been dashed for shopping on this day, any suggestions for other activities to do? We will be staying well away from Theme Parks & Zoos as I imagine they will be very well patronised under the circumstances. Don't want to spend a fortune but as we won't be getting off at the prevous port due to it being Easter Friday, we will probably appreciate dry land for a bit.

How about going to the Gold Coast, which is about an hour from Brisbane? I'd be very surprised if the shops there would be closed on Easter Sunday ... shops in tourist areas tend to put $s ahead of almost everything and rarely close in holiday peak periods like Easter.
