Mini-suites on NCL Gem and NCL Dawn

Hi,

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (9 & 6) and are planning a Med cruise . We feel the mini-suite is best for us (cruised RCCL in a JS and Princess in a Mini-suite) but we have noticed that the mini-suites on NCL Jade are 285 sq ft and the Gem is only 235 sq ft.

Does anybody out there have experience of this , and may help us.

We prefer the itinerary of the Gem- Venice round-trip, but if the mini-suite on the Jade is noticabely larger then it would make more sence for us to go on this cruise out of Barcelona having our two little ones with us. Flights are not an issue as we are living in Europe.

Thanks
