aggie1 Posted March 1, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2009 We will be on EOS sailing 4/5 to southern carribbean. Over a year ago I booked a day sail with the Winifred in St.Thomas. When I mentioned it a while ago I did not get good reports. Tried to find another one, but now everything is booked. I guess I am just worried. I would like some better reports before I cancell. My DH and I are 66 and am wondering if this is too much. I have never been on a sailboat like this before and really want to do it, but nervous. Thanks

truffles2 Posted March 1, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2009 There have been several threads over time regarding day sails. I don't think I ever recall anyone saying anything uncomplimentary about any of them. We have done day sails on Winifred several times (tho not from the cruise ship....but that should not matter). They were quite enjoyable. You might also consider the following who sail with small numbers (6-8) http://www.alauntcharters.com http://www.Sandspurcharters.com http://www.sailwithcaptainmax.com http://www.stjohndaysail.com http://www.sailfantasy.com

Thanks We have cruise with Daysail "Fantasy" on 3 different occasions. They gear your sail around what you want to do. Our girls started at the ages of 3 and 7 (now 12 & 16), and insist every time we visit St. Thomas to do a day sail with Ms. Pam. We absolutely love it. Good Luck!
