Just returned from POA on Nov 22....

team: When you get off the ships at every port except Kona there are shuttles waiting to pick you up - simply ask the staff on the pier where they are located.

 

M & M - yes, you could wear shorts at night at the buffets.

 

Spooky: The cabins are very small. There are four small drawers in the closet and that is it. We had clothes put in the nightstands. Take a load of extra hangers with you and you can hang stuff in the closet. We had our luggage stuffed under the beds.

 

cjn : Yes, I would absolutely rent a car, especially if you are going to the Old Lahaina Luaua - it's a 45 minute drive from the ship and I can't imagine how much it would cost if we hadn't rented a car.

 

No coffeemakers in the rooms, though.
