MSC Orchestra

First time cruiser. Left on Feb 21 on MSC orchestra. Don't have anything to compare the trip with, but here's my opinion. Ship was beautiful and very clean. Cabin was as I expected, we did have a balcony, which was very nice to sit on when the ship was at port..too noisy to open doors when ship is sailing. We ate at the buffet most of the time. Food was good, lots of choices. Salad bar particularly good! Most of the lounges have entertainment which we enjoyed. Went to a few shows in the lovely theater which were also good. We are beer drinkers, so we bought the bucket of beer (4 bottles, any kind) for $12.00. Cabin service was excellent, and the only people we found who were rude were some of the passengers. Staff was very friendly and helpful. On and off ship very organized and quick. No problems at all with any aspect of the cruise. Television had options to review your bill, order room service, see live shots of the ship and track your course. Programs were very slim, but you don't go on a cruise to watch TV. Wonderful time, would go again!

Glad you had a terrific cruise. We travel next week for the first time on MSC. Seems that most of the reviews are positive nowadays. Did you book a balcony or was it an upgrade. Other than the salad bar, what other buffet highlights were there. Any kids in-tow? How about a top 5 favorites list, if you have the time? Thanks in advance for your response.
