Rome hop on bus on Sunday

We will be in Rome for 1 port day in September on a Sunday. I was planning on taking the train to Rome, then hop on/off bus. After reading about the 110 open bus, they say that on Sundays the route changes. Has anybody used the 110 open on a Sunday and how far away would the Coliseum and Trevi Fountain be from where the stops are.
