Portside Accommodation?

In the past we have stayed with family on the sunshine coast but for our next cruise we have an afternoon flight and the kids will be getting picked up from portside by their grandparents the morning of the cruise.

 

Can anyone suggest a nice motel close to portside for 2 adults and 2 teenage children?

We are staying at the Airport Motel near the warf 2 weeks before you go. It seems ok and they have family rooms and can give you a lift to the warf in the morning.

The Kingsford Smith Motel is the closest Motel to Portside Wharf- it's located on the corner of Kingsford Smith Drive and Nudgee Road, which becomes Remora Rd which leads to Portside. It's only a short walk to the terminal, easily managable even with luggage.

Martin's Mum & her friend stayed there in Janaury before our cruise (our place was full with the rest of our cruise party) and it was really nice... And the owner/operators are cruisers as well. They are going (or may have been by now) on Pacific Dawn.
