Hotel suggestion FLL

Our flight arrives in Fort Lauderdale at 10:00 pm the night before our cruise. We are looking for a decent hotel, shuttle to/from the airport, and a few restaurants nearby. Any suggestions?

Holiday Inn Express, Hyatt Place, Embassy Suites all on 17th Street within very close walking distance to restaurants.

 

The Outback Steakhouse next door to the Embassy serves until 11:30 on Friday and Saturday night.

I have stayed at 2 of these - Holliday Inn Express and Hyatt Place - and both were great for pre-cruise night.

 

The time we stayed at HIEx our flight was very delayed.....we did not land until 1:00AM....the shuttle from the airport was scheduled to stop at midnight....when I found out our flight was delayed I called the hotel and they told me no problem....just call when we landed and they would get us anyway....and they did.

 

Hyatt Place was also great and their shuttle service was comendable. The Outback is in the "backyard" of the Hyatt Place and we ate there late. (Embassy and Hyatt Place are across the street from eachother)

 

Both of these properties offered a shuttle to the pier in the morning as well, free of charge.
