Tipping Camp Carnival Staff

I read somewhere here the other day about tipping Camp Carnival staff. The person said to use calling cards as opposed to cash. Does the staff require international cards, or can they use domestic as well? Can anyone help me? Leaving in 14 days on the Miracle:confused: :) :)

I saw several of the staff using their own cell phones. I don't think they get off the ship enough to use calling cards. I would just tip cash.
