What time do shops open?

We arrive at 7am. Do the shops on Front STreet open early for cruise ships or do they open around 9 or 10? Just planning the logistics of the day. Thanks.

I think they must open when the first cruise ship starts letting people off. We've sailed Carnival and Princess multiple times to St Maarten. They own part (if not all) of the new dock and get priority berth assignment so we've been part of the first bunch off the first ship.

 

It's been my observation that most stores are open or just getting open at that time...no matter when it's been.
